Death of the Imagination

What I fear most, I think, is the death of the imagination.  When the sky outside is merely pink, and the rooftops merely black: that photographic mind which paradoxically tells the truth, but the worthless truth, about the world.

I love Sylvia Plath, this is such a beautiful quote and definitely something to think about. I think there will forever be creatives in the world and people who love to read beautiful descriptions written by creative writers. It may diminish, but I really love to think it will always be there somewhat.

I like this one as well. I'm guilty of it myself. What causes this age? Technology? I don't know, maybe it is a combination of things. Whatever it is, I hope mine never goes away.
